Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
-Must have minimum of a CACREP Accredited Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Degree must be from a U.S. located and accredited university or college.
- Must be Licensed by ABEC to Practice Counseling in Alabama Unrestricted
​- Additional Licensure in Georgia a PLUS.
- Licensure must be in good standing and without censure, reprimand, suspension, or other punitive action by the Board within the past two years.
- Pass a background check.  [Not all convictions are disqualifying]
​- New Counselors encouraged to apply
- Must be fully insured for liability by HPSO or other reputable insurance company.
- Being credentialed with TriCare, BCBS, Aetna, Humana, OPTUM, United Health Group, and VA Community Care is important but we will help credential you with the group.  BUT BEING ALREADY INDIVIDUALLY CREDENTIALED PUTS YOU TO THE TOP OF THE LIST FOR HIRE...
​- MUST BE a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
​- Veteran counselors are preferred but this is not a deal breaker - apply anyway.
- Hours are usually daytime 0800 - 1600hrs ET [8 hours/day] 5 days/week.
​or 0900 - 1700hrs ET [8 hours/day] 5 days/week. W2 no 1099
- CBT | CBT-I | PE | EMDR | REBT | Are all VERY useful to have for this position. Motivational Interviewing and Substance Use Disorder training is also very helpful.

Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC)
​- Must have a minimum of a CACREP Accredited Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  Degree must be from A U.S. located and Accredited university or college. 
​- Must be licensed by ABEC as an Associate Licensed Counselor authorized to practice in Alabama under  AL LPC/S.
- Must have an LPC/S with current licensure and certification by ABEC who is IN THE STATE OF ALABAMA AND IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE.
​- Must be fully insured for liability by HPSO or other reputable insurance company.
- Must have no censure, reprimand, suspension, or other punitive action against licensure within the past two years.
​- Must pass Background Check [Not all convictions are disqualifying]
